Matiya CCAP Women Choir in Zomba City launched their second music DVD titled Kumwamba kuli Camera on Sunday.
Chairlady of the choir, Nancy Dzinkambani, expressed gratitude for the congregation’s support and acknowledged those who contributed both cash and resources towards the project. She also encouraged people from other denominations to purchase the DVD to help fulfill their goal of buying a bus for the church.
Supporting artists at the launch included Evance Watsopano Meleka, Moses Makawa, Mr. Slyce, Cobbe Barracks CCAP Mvano Choir, and Sadzi CCAP Women Choir. Dzinkambani thanked them for their contributions and was optimistic that the new album would be a market success.
Rev. Lemax Daniel Chigwenembe, Moderator of Matiya CCAP, praised the women’s efforts and their goal to buy a bus, which he said would aid in their ministry work.
Chambo Ward Councillor, Munira Bakali, who attended the event and contributed K50,000, also expressed appreciation for the choir’s unity and their new music project.
