Dr. Dorothy Tembo, a lecturer in the Theology and Religious Studies Department at the University of Malawi, has encouraged secondary school students in Zomba to start thinking about their future careers and work hard to achieve their dreams.
She made the remarks at Zomba Urban Secondary School Hall during a student conference organized by Everlasting Life Ministry under the theme “Transform to Transform Others.”
Dr. Tembo commended Everlasting Life Ministry for organizing the event, saying it served as an inspiration for students to set clear career goals. She urged them to prioritize their studies and put God first in their journey to success.
“There is always stiff competition in the MSCE Examination. Work hard to pass with good grades so you can secure a place at university,” she advised.
Apostle James Chikopa, leader of Everlasting Life Ministry in Malawi, praised the conference for motivating students to excel academically and grow in their Christian faith. He encouraged them to apply the lessons learned in their daily lives.
Patience Chikandila, a student at Zomba Urban Day Secondary School, described the conference as transformative, saying it gave her renewed hope for a successful career. She urged her peers to remain focused and work hard in school while keeping God at the center of their efforts.
