KAINGA NANGOZO SULUTE, PRIVATE SECTOR SUPPORTING GOVERNMENT

Honourable Patricia Nangozo Kainga, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, has emphasized the importance of partnerships with the private sector.

Nangozo made this statement during the official handover ceremony for the refurbished VIP Lounge at Chileka International Airport, a project fully financed and undertaken by OG Build Africa.

Speaking at the event, Honourable Nangozo Kainga commended OG Build Africa for its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and its support for the government’s service delivery agenda.

She emphasized that airports serve as the country’s strategic gateways and the first points of impression for visitors, investors, and dignitaries. Upgrading such facilities is crucial for presenting the best image of Malawi to the world.

Additionally, she reaffirmed the government’s commitment to infrastructure development through public-private partnerships, noting that the refurbished VIP Lounge will significantly enhance the experience and satisfaction of all its users.

The Deputy Minister assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the managers of the facility, will ensure its proper care and maintenance for years to come.
