Maranatha Academy, in partnership with India’s Sharda University, has opened doors for Malawian students to access international education opportunities.
Speaking during an open school fair in Lilongwe, Maranatha Academy Director Ernest Kaonga said the partnership is designed to give Malawian students exposure to world-class learning combined with practical experience.
“This year’s intake will admit not only Maranatha students but also learners from other schools across Malawi,” Kaonga said, stressing that the goal is to broaden access to quality international education.
Sharda University Country Manager, Rahul Pal, announced that the institution will offer scholarships of up to 50 percent for more than 200 Malawian students this year. He assured parents of the safety and security of their children while studying in India, adding that graduates would have opportunities to work globally.
Meanwhile, Maranatha Academy has also set a new academic record, with this year’s Junior Certificate examinations achieving a 100 percent pass rate.
