ECG The Jesus Nation Church has officially announced the hosting of its 2025 Crossover Prayers, a major annual spiritual event led by the church’s President and Founder, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.
The announcement was made in Lilongwe, Malawi, confirming that the prayer gathering will take place at the Auction Holdings Limited (AHL) Auditorium.
The 2025 Crossover Prayers are scheduled to usher believers into the New Year through a night dedicated to prayer, worship and prophetic declarations.
The event will be held under the theme “Night of Victory,” reflecting a message of faith, hope and spiritual triumph as participants transition into the New Year.
Organisers say the gathering is expected to attract more than 15,000 participants from across Malawi and neighbouring countries.
The annual crossover prayers have become a key fixture on the national religious calendar, drawing thousands of worshippers seeking spiritual renewal and guidance.
Beyond its spiritual significance, the event is also expected to deliver notable economic benefits to Malawians.
The influx of local and international visitors is anticipated to boost business activity in sectors such as tourism, accommodation, transport services, food vending and general trade.
Small-scale traders and service providers around Lilongwe are expected to particularly benefit from increased demand during the event period.
