Former Flames and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets player, Robert Ng’ambi, has urged young players to listen to their parents and coaches. Ng’ambi said being obedient and respectful helps to take their football skills far.
He spoke this on 1st January ,2025 at the end of a football and netball tournament organized by Kit Aid in partnership with FOMO at Mulanje Park in Mulanje district.
Mighty Wanderers defender, Emmanuel Nyirenda, also encouraged young players to focus on their skills.
Tournament director, Fasiyano Kanjeula, thanked FOMO boss, Mary Woodworth for promoting various sports in Mulanje district.
Kit Aid teams, under-14 boys and girls football and netball teams, were crowned champions. FOMO Academy won in the under-12 category.
The annual tournament aims to showcase young players’ skills, with 62 teams from FOMO participating this year.
