CROSS ROADS HOTEL MANAGER ABDUCTED BY ARMED MEN IN LILONGWE

There was panic and confusion at Cross Roads Hotel in Lilongwe after reports emerged that the hotel’s manager, Sameer Sacranie, was forcibly taken by armed men.

According to eyewitnesses who were present at the scene, the incident occurred shortly after Mr. Sacranie arrived at his office, when an unidentified vehicle stopped abruptly near the premises.

Witnesses say several armed men got out of the vehicle and immediately confronted Mr. Sacranie, forcing him outside before pushing him into their car against his will.

People nearby described the situation as chaotic, with some individuals fleeing the area in fear while others watched in shock as the abduction unfolded.

After forcing him into the vehicle, the armed men reportedly fired two gunshots into the air, heightening fear among staff and bystanders.

The suspects then sped away from the scene at high speed, leaving many shaken and uncertain about what had just occurred.

Security personnel at Cross Roads Hotel have confirmed that an incident took place but stated that they are currently unable to comment further as investigations are ongoing.

Police have not yet issued an official statement, while members of the public are calling for swift action and increased security as concerns grow over safety in the area.
