VP USI CALLS FOR UNITY, URGES KAUMA RESIDENTS TO UTILIZE NEEF LOANS

Vice President Dr. Michael Bizwick Usi has called on the people of Kauma to embrace unity, urging them to set aside political differences for the nation’s development.

Speaking at Kauma Ground in Traditional Authority Chitukula, Lilongwe, Dr. Usi reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing critical issues, including food security.

Dr. Usi encouraged local entrepreneurs and residents to take advantage of the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) loans to grow small-scale businesses, stressing the importance of self-reliance. He also reminded beneficiaries to repay the loans to ensure continued access for others in need.

Senior Chief Kauma appealed to the government for the rehabilitation and construction of essential infrastructure, including Kauma Market, the local health center, and Kauma Primary School. Earlier, the Vice President interacted with business people at Kauma Trading Center before addressing the larger community.
