Speaker of the Parliament Sameer Suleman has challenged that his leadership is determined to restore reputation of the National Assembly.
Suleman was speaking in a special interview with local media where he emphasized that the August House plays a central role in the country’s development.
He regretted that some former legislators lacked the discipline, hardworking spirit and knowledge in the affairs of the August House.
He disclosed several measures on his agenda to improve overall delivery of Parliament and expressed commitment to fight corruption.
“Members of Parliament are called to duty and service of their constituencies as a result they must work and avail themselves in the chamber,” Suleman concluded.
