High Court in Blantyre has shifted until further notice the date it will start hearing the case involving the registered trustees of Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) and embattled Bangwe SDA church members.
Initially, High Court Judge Allan Muhome was scheduled to start hearing the matter on Thursday. Among others, the trustees of the church want expelled members to stop using church properties including prayer house.
The development follows the dissolution of the church for non-compliance with the church doctrine. Expelled members who are answering the case in court include: Amos Kuipa, Patrick Raphael, Edward Makuwira, Cidreck Yusuf and Don Chisale.
