Government has redeployed all Chief Executive officers of the country’s regional water boards to various universities, where they will now be lecturing.
Chief Secretary to the Office of President and Cabinet,( SPC)Justin Saidi confirmed the redeployments saying the secondments are with immediate effect.
The letters indicate tthat Eng. John Peter Abraham Mwakwenda has been moved from the Central Region Water Board to the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS).while Duncan Chambamba from the Southern Region Water Board (SRWB) has also been redeployed.
Francis Munthali from the Northern Region Water Board has been seconded to Mzuzu University.
Silli Mbewe from the Lilongwe Water Board has been assigned to the Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA), while Robert Hanjahanja from the Blantyre Water Board has been posted to MUBAS.
Government is yet to announce the replacements in all the water boards soon.
