Goshen City Dedza Dynamos sponsor, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, has awarded K300,000 to each member of the club’s 30-man squad following their impressive victory in the Castel Challenge Cup quarterfinal.
The players earned the reward after defeating Ekhaya FC 2–0 in a tightly contested match played on Saturday, 24 January 2026.
Goshen City Director of Communications, Aubrey Kusakala, confirmed the development, describing the gesture as a token of appreciation for the team’s hard work and commitment.
Kusakala said the financial incentive is aimed at motivating the players to maintain their winning momentum as the competition reaches its decisive stages.
“It is the dream of Shepherd Bushiri to see Goshen City Dedza Dynamos reaching the finals of the competition,” Kusakala said.
He added that the sponsor remains fully committed to supporting the team both on and off the pitch as they pursue silverware.
With the quarterfinal hurdle cleared, Goshen City Dedza Dynamos now shift focus to the semifinals of the Castel Challenge Cup.
The Dedza-based outfit will face the winner between Chitipa United and Blue Eagles, who meet later today to determine Goshen City’s next opponent.
