PRESIDENT CHAKWERA LAUNCHES MHC HEADQUARTERS CONSTRUCTION IN LILONGWE

His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, today officially launched the construction of the new Malawi Housing Corporation (MHC) Headquarters in Lilongwe. The groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant milestone in the Chakwera administration’s commitment to infrastructure development as part of the Vision 2063 agenda.

President Chakwera, accompanied by the First Lady, Madam Monica Chakwera, was warmly received upon arrival at the site by Minister of Lands Deus Gumba, Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba, and other notable dignitaries.

The new MHC Headquarters promises to be a state-of-the-art facility that will not only enhance the architectural landscape of the capital city but also address the pressing office space challenges faced by the organization.
