VP ANSAH TO LAUNCH PUBLIC SECTOR REFORMS INFORMATION SYSTEM TODAY

LILONGWE, Thursday, 11 December 2025 — Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, Rt. Hon. Justice Dr. Jane Ansah, JA (Rtd), is this morning expected to preside over the official launch of the Public Sector Reforms Information Management System (PRIMS).

The high-profile event will take place at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe, where government officials, stakeholders and development partners are anticipated to gather.

According to organisers, the Vice President is scheduled to arrive at the venue at approximately 11:00 hours, after which the launch ceremony will commence.

PRIMS is expected to enhance monitoring, coordination and reporting of public sector reforms, offering government institutions a centralised platform for transparency and efficiency.

Officials say the introduction of the system marks a significant step in strengthening accountability and digital transformation within the public service.

Dr. Ansah, who also oversees the Public Sector Reforms portfolio, is expected to highlight government’s commitment to modernising service delivery during her keynote address.

The launch further demonstrates Malawi’s continued efforts to streamline operations across ministries, departments and agencies through the use of technology.
