Second Vice President of Malawi, Rt Hon Enock Chihana, has arrived at the CCAP Livingstonia Synod’s annual general assembly currently taking place in Kasungu.
Chihana is among several high-profile figures attending the gathering, which has brought together church leaders, politicians and other distinguished guests.
Former President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is also in attendance, alongside UTM President Dr Dalitso Kabambe and former Vice President Khumbo Kachali.
The annual assembly has attracted a wide range of participants as church members and leaders gather for worship, fellowship and discussions on matters concerning the church and its wider mission.
The presence of senior political figures has also added prominence to the gathering, which is being closely followed by members of the public.
The CCAP Livingstonia Synod annual assembly continues to provide a platform for church leadership, members and invited guests to reflect on the church’s role in society and its contribution to national development.
