IAC EXPRESSES INTEREST IN INVESTING INFRASTRUCTURE, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

International Arbitration Centre of Africa (IACA) has expressed interest in investing in Malawi’s education sector especially in infrastructure and skills development.

During the meeting with Minister of Education, Science and Technology in Lilongwe, Chairperson for IACA Zhang Zhijie expressed the organisation’s strong interest in investing in Malawi’s education sector particularly in infrastructure development and skills training.

Zhang emphasised that the proposed partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience, especially in the field of arbitration.

He also unveiled plans to construct Technical Colleges to complement Government efforts in equipping young Malawians with vocational and professional skills.

He further revealed that a new Arbitration Centre will be established at the Grand Business Park in Lilongwe an ideal and strategic location that will allow students, to easily access world-class training opportunities.

The Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Bright Msaka expressed appreciation for the delegation’s warm gesture and recognition of his new role.

Msaka promised to work with them and provide any necessary support towards implementation of such projects which will address some of the problems.
