Minister of Education Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima has assured residents of Nkhatabay Central Constituency that the government will soon commence the construction of Kapingama Community Day Secondary School (CDSS).
Responding to a question from Nkhatabay Central MP Symon Vuwa Kaunda during Parliamentary question time, Kambauwa confirmed that the construction will take place at Malemba in Sub-Traditional Authority Kamwadi’s area, where the community has allocated land for the project.
Kaunda pressed for updates on the project, reminding the House that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera had directed its construction on March 3 during the Martyrs’ Day commemoration in Nkhatabay.
“People in my constituency have already provided land and molded 350,000 bricks for the project,” said Kaunda.
Kambauwa assured Parliament that her ministry is aware of the directive and is taking steps to implement the President’s order.
