Future Vision Ministry International organized an HIV and AIDS, and Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) awareness campaign in Sunuzi, Group Village Head Taulo, Zomba. The organization urged the community to avoid reckless lifestyles that could lead to sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, during the festive season.

Country Director Newton Sunday Sindo emphasized the risks associated with unplanned sexual activities and unplanned pregnancies that often occur during this time.

“Let me appeal to young people to avoid reckless life. You’re future leaders, and you should not indulge in risky behaviors that can compromise your future,” he stated.

Sindo also urged the community to spend wisely during the festive season, highlighting the upcoming need for school fees for children. He advocated against child marriages, pointing out their detrimental effects on children’s futures and health.

He also advised those living with HIV to remain consistent with their ARV treatment.
