CHIEFS IN NTCHEU BWANJE WANT NANCY CHAOLA TO CONTINUE DEVELOPMENT WORK

The chiefs from Traditional Authority Ganya in the Ntcheu Bwanje area have expressed their desire for former Member of Parliament (MP) Nancy Chaola Mdooko to be re-elected in the upcoming September 16 elections, enabling her to continue her development efforts in the area.

The chiefs, represented by Group Village Head (GVH) Zalengera 1, made these remarks at a political rally organized by the former MP in the Bwanje constituency.

GVH Zalengera 1 stated that the chiefs from the Ntcheu Bwanje area support Nancy Chaola Mdooko’s re-election as MP due to the significant development work she has accomplished since her election in 2019.

He highlighted that during her tenure, various development projects were undertaken, including the construction of Katsinje Rural Hospital, secondary schools, hostels for secondary students, bridges, primary school blocks, school libraries, computer labs, vocational training centers, and the installation of solar-powered lights along roads and in villages.

GVH Zalengera 1 added that Chaola Mdooko has improved the lives of women and youth by providing them with loans to start businesses, thus uplifting them economically.

“We, the chiefs of Ntcheu Bwanje under T/A Ganya, want Nancy Chaola Mdooko to continue as MP because she is a person who brings development,” he said.

In her remarks, Nancy Chaola Mdooko stated that if re-elected, she will ensure that Ntcheu Bwanje becomes more developed than all other constituencies in the district.

Chaola Mdooko, who is contesting as an independent candidate, urged the public to vote for her in the upcoming election so she can continue the development initiatives she started, along with new plans outlined in her manifesto.

One of the attendees at the rally, Herbert Chidothi, expressed confidence that Nancy Chaola Mdooko will win the September 16 election because of her development work since 2019 and her compassionate leadership that understands the problems of the people.
