PRESIDENT MUTHARIKA ACKNOWLEDGES 2025 CHALLENGES, URGES UNITY AND HOPE

President Peter Mutharika has acknowledged that the year 2025 has been marked by serious national challenges, including shortages of food, fuel, foreign exchange, and fertilizer, which have affected the daily lives of many Malawians.

In his Christmas and New Year message to the nation, President Mutharika openly reflected on these difficulties, noting that they have tested the country’s resilience and placed pressure on households and businesses alike.
