Vice President Dr. Jane Mayemu Ansah, SC, JA (Retired), is expected to attend the Zambezi Evangelical Church (ZEC) Chiole Synod National Women’s Conference 2026 as Guest of Honour on Sunday, August 23.
The conference, organised by the Synod Women’s Guild Department, is being held under the theme “Women of Faith, Arise and Shine,” drawn from Isaiah 60:1.
The gathering will take place at the Manjawira ZEC Ground in Ntcheu District, with more than 2,500 women, pastors and church leaders expected to attend.
Organisers say the conference is aimed at bringing together women from across the synod for worship, fellowship and spiritual empowerment.
The event will also encourage women to strengthen their faith and play a greater role in their communities.
Ansah’s latest church engagement is consequently expected to attract political attention, particularly as the Vice President continues to maintain a visible presence at religious and community events across the country.
Despite the political undertones surrounding her public engagements, the Chiole Synod conference remains primarily focused on worship, fellowship and empowering women to live out the message of its theme: “Women of Faith, Arise and Shine.”
