President Lazarus Chakwera has emphasized that Malawi’s journey toward Vision 2063 requires perseverance and resilience. He urged citizens to endure challenges without looking back, as each step forward brings the nation closer to prosperity.
Speaking at the official opening of the Global Leadership Summit in Lilongwe, Chakwera stated, “Each pain we endure in this wilderness, without turning back on God or each other, lays the foundation for the prosperity that is surely coming.”
He also commended both national and international leaders at the summit for providing a platform where he could share his journey of faith and resilience.
Victor Mughogho, Country Coordinator for the Global Leadership Network, underscored the importance of leadership development in achieving Vision 2063. He noted that the summit serves as a hub for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, which will enhance governance, decision-making, and leadership across various sectors.
