President professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has promised that starting this financial year will reduce congestion and queues at the Immigration offices.Mutharika made the statement during the opening the 52nd session of Parliament in Lilongwe.He highlighted that Blantyre, Mzuzu and Mangochi will starting printing passports saying all regions will manage to produce passports.He also promised to fulfill campaign promises including re- introducing a reformed Constituency Development Fund( CDF) to allocate mk5 Billion, every year to every constituency starting from next financial year.The president emphasized that this will help to develop the country as part of implementation of decentralization.Mutharika further advised Members of Parliament to focus on development in their constituencies to transform people’s lives.The first sitting will be starting on wednesday, 5th November, 2025.
