Seasoned politician Ken Nsonda is impressed with the decision made by former Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor Dalitso Kabambe.
On Monday, Kabambe announced his resignation from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) membership.
Nsonda stated that he had previously advised Kabambe and DPP President for the Eastern region, Bright Msaka, to leave the party due to ongoing issues.
“I had already advised Kabambe to do so before, and I also expect Hon. Bright Msaka to leave the party”, said Nsonda.
He added that both individuals are respected and recognized both locally and internationally for the positions they held in government.
The frontline politician Nsonda revealed that there are some problematic individuals within the party who have been deceiving Prof. Peter Mutharika due to their selfishness, and they have been causing embarrassment to respected people like Kabambe and Msaka.
Some individuals on social media have further described Nsonda as a prophet since he had mentioned this previously.
Nsonda, who is now 64 years old, has been actively involved in politics for over 32 years.
He informed this publication that God has granted him the grace of being close to the sitting presidents of Malawi since 1997.
“I started with Dr. Bakili Muluzi in 1997, then Prof. Bingu Wa Mutharika, followed by Dr. Joyce Banda. I also had a close relationship with Prof. Peter Mutharika and now with Dr. Lazarus Chakwera”, said Nsonda while thanking God for that grace.
