The race for the top four places in the 2026 FDH Bank Premiership has intensified after Week 13, with only three points separating leaders Silver Strikers from fourth-placed Blue Eagles.
Silver Strikers remain at the summit with 28 points from 13 matches, having recorded eight wins, four draws and just one defeat. They have also scored 23 goals while conceding only five, giving them a strong goal difference of +18.
Mighty Wanderers and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are level on 26 points, but Wanderers occupy second position because of their superior goal difference. The Nomads have scored 24 goals and conceded eight, while Big Bullets have scored 15 and conceded seven.
Blue Eagles are fourth with 25 points after eight wins, one draw and four defeats. Their position leaves them just one point behind the two giants and three points behind league leaders Silver Strikers.
The battle is particularly tight at the top, with the four leading teams having all played 13 matches. Every remaining fixture could therefore have a significant impact on the championship race and the final top-four positions.
Behind the leading quartet, Masters FC sit fifth with 21 points, while Red Lions and Chitipa United have 19 points each. Luanar Mitundu FC are eighth with 18 points.
With the season progressing, attention will now turn to the fixtures involving the leading four sides as Silver Strikers, Mighty Wanderers, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Blue Eagles continue their fight for supremacy.
The current standings suggest that the top-four race remains wide open, with Silver Strikers holding the advantage but Wanderers, Big Bullets and Blue Eagles firmly within striking distance.
