Football action in the Hon. Dr. William Susuwele Banda Zomba Chingale Constituency Trophy continues this weekend with six matches scheduled across different grounds in the constituency.
All matches are expected to kick off at 2:30 pm, with teams battling for valuable points and local bragging rights.
Saturday’s programme features four matches.
Ligomeka FC will face Makongwa at Lisanjala Parish Ground, while Ebere takes on Shire Hard Hammers at Makongwa Ground.
At St Bridget Ground, Milale United will meet Academy, with Democity facing Chigwaja at Nogwe Ground.
On Sunday, attention shifts to two more encounters, with Mtuluma taking on Mulonde Stars at St Bridget Ground, while Young Stars will face Koloti at Parish Ground.
The fixtures are expected to provide another opportunity for local football talent to showcase their skills in front of supporters.
Organisers have indicated that some of the remaining matches will be played during the week because the participating teams are also competing in another league.
The adjustment is aimed at speeding up the programme while allowing teams to fulfil their other league commitments.
Supporters across Zomba Chingale are therefore expected to turn out in large numbers as the constituency trophy continues to gather momentum.
