The 22nd National Agriculture Fair has officially opened, bringing together farmers, businesses, government officials and other key stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
The three-day event, running from 27th to 29th August 2026, is being held under the theme “Transforming Agriculture through Innovation, Value Addition and Market Linkages.”
The fair provides a platform for stakeholders to showcase agricultural products, technologies and innovations while promoting value addition and strengthening connections between producers and markets.
Organisers say the event is also aimed at encouraging farmers to adopt modern agricultural practices and creating opportunities for farmers and businesses to engage with potential markets.
Throughout the fair, stakeholders are expected to exchange ideas, showcase innovations and explore practical solutions to transform agriculture into a more productive, competitive and commercially viable sector.
The event is expected to highlight the role of innovation, value addition and market access in driving sustainable growth across the agriculture industry.
